Maritime professionals from around the globe swapped jackets for racquets on Tuesday 7 June and battled into the midday heat at the Posidonia Tennis Tournament, hosted by London law firm, E.G. Arghyrakis & Co. Jon Lindqvist (Costamare) took the mens' award and Vera Popova (Roswell Tankers) the ladies' trophy. George Kaldis (Safe Bulkers) and Vassilis Papaikovou (Enterprises Shipping & Trading) were mens' 1st and 2nd runners up respectively after a hotly contested play-off. Maria Goutsiou (Major & Grove) and Carolyn Biggar (Shipping Consultancy) took ladies' 1st and 2nd runners up respectively.

Further awards were made, including 'worst language on court' and 'more spin than Boris', to un-repentant recipients.
